I am one of fifteen sophomores in the Haslam Scholars Program, a selective honors scholarship program at the University of Tennessee. I aim to use the programming knowledge I earn through my Computer Science degree for social services purposes. Born in northern India, I believe my familiarity with five languages may aid me in my future goals.

I am in interested in political issues on campus and in the SGA. I am also passionate about sustainability and food justice and work with SPEAK (the campus environmental action group), various Hunger Alliance organizations and UT Dining to implement changes in the food policy. I also write for UT's honors program website and for Amplifier, Knoxville's street newspaper.
